3 Piece Beaded Sailboard Display for 'AirBae'
A large-scale three-piece sailboard display made for AirBae, featuring a beaded podium base, removable boards and discreet castors to make transport and setup easier.

This substantial three-piece beaded sailboard display was made for long-time client AirBae, designed to create a real statement at events while still being practical to transport and set up.
The display sits on a chunky two-foot-high podium base with a beaded front, giving the whole piece a bold but refined finish. Three removable sailboards stand at approximately 4ft, 5ft and 6ft tall, taking the complete setup to around eight feet at its highest point.
Each sailboard was finished with a subtle border detail to add a little more depth without taking away from the overall design. Because of the size and weight of the finished display, discreet castors were fitted underneath the base, allowing it to be lowered onto the wheels and moved much more easily when required.
The sailboards slot securely into the base but can be removed individually for transport, making a large-scale piece considerably easier to handle. It took some careful planning to get the proportions, fit and movement right, but the finished display came together exactly as intended.
