Live Edge Oak Chopping Board – Signature

A substantial, heavyweight oak chopping board designed as a true centrepiece in the kitchen.

Each board is handmade from carefully selected solid oak, creating a durable and dependable preparation surface with exceptional thickness, weight and stability. The added mass helps reduce movement during use and gives the board a reassuring, grounded feel that lighter chopping boards cannot match.

Most boards feature a natural live edge, allowing the grain, movement and individual character of the timber to take centre stage. Where suitable natural edging is not available, the edge may be carefully shaped to retain the same overall appearance.

Depending on the natural width, grain and availability of the oak, your board may be made from a single solid piece or from carefully jointed sections of solid oak. Larger sizes, particularly XL boards, are more likely to be made from jointed sections due to the width required. This allows us to maintain the required dimensions, strength and stability while keeping the finished design consistent.

Finished by hand with a smooth, practical surface, the Signature range is built for serious food preparation, serving and display. It is the most substantial and commanding board in the collection.

Natural variation in grain, colour, construction and edge shape is part of the character of real timber and means no two boards will be exactly the same.
