Live Edge Oak Chopping Board – Home Chef

A thick, well-balanced oak chopping board designed for more demanding kitchen use.

Each board is handmade from carefully selected solid oak, creating a durable and dependable preparation surface with a more substantial feel under hand. The increased thickness and weight help reduce movement during use, offering greater stability for regular cooking and heavier food preparation.

Most boards feature a natural live edge, allowing the grain, movement and individual character of the timber to remain visible. Where suitable natural edging is not available, the edge may be carefully shaped to retain the same overall appearance.

Depending on the natural width, grain and availability of the oak, your board may be made from a single solid piece or from carefully jointed sections of solid oak. This allows us to maintain the required size, strength and stability while keeping the finished design consistent.

Finished by hand with a smooth, practical surface, the Home Chef range is designed for those who want a more solid, grounded board without stepping up to the full weight and presence of the Signature range.

Natural variation in grain, colour, construction and edge shape is part of the character of real timber and means no two boards will be exactly the same.
