Aged Redwood Radiator Cover with Gothic Panel
A solid Scandinavian redwood radiator cover with an aged, scorched finish, floating-tenon construction and a CNC-cut gothic front panel.

This custom radiator cover was built from solid Scandinavian redwood, combining a heavily aged timber finish with a decorative gothic-style front panel.
The frame was assembled using floating tenon joinery for strength, before the timber was deliberately marked and scorched to create a more worn, rustic appearance. Once finished with Danish oil, the grain and surface detail became much more pronounced.
A CNC-cut gothic panel was fitted across the front, adding a sharper decorative contrast while still allowing heat to circulate freely through the cover.
The finished piece had plenty of character, blending traditional detailing with a more rugged timber finish to create something practical but visually distinctive.
