Aged Redwood Radiator Cover with Gothic Panel
A custom radiator cover with a bold, aged finish and gothic detailing — built from solid Scandinavian redwood and designed to add both style and character to a living room space.
We used floating tenon joinery for strength, then aged the wood with saw marks and scorching to give it a lived-in, rustic feel. The character in the grain really came to life once finished with Danish oil.
A CNC-cut gothic panel was added to the front, giving a sharp contrast to the textured timber and letting heat flow freely. The result is a standout radiator cover that works just as well in period homes as it does in modern spaces that want a bit of heritage character.
