This contemporary mantle beam was made from solid Scandinavian redwood, with a clean, simple profile designed to suit a more modern interior.
The timber was carefully selected and stained to complement the surrounding space, adding warmth while still allowing the natural grain to show through.
Rounded edges gave the piece a softer, more refined look, avoiding the heavier distressed finish often associated with rustic mantles. It was then finished with clear wax to protect the surface and add a subtle sheen.
Simple and understated, the finished beam added just enough character to complete the room without overpowering it.
