Engineered American White Oak Window Sill
A made-to-measure oak window sill created for a bathroom renovation, combining long-term stability with solid oak detailing and a warm Rubio Walnut finish.

This engineered oak window sill was made to suit the tone of a bathroom renovation, offering both warmth and subtle character.
It featured a veneered MFC core for long-term stability, wrapped in an oak veneer and lipped along the front edge with solid American White Oak. The lipping was then rounded over for easy handling and a smooth, softened profile with no sharp corners.
Each piece was sanded until smooth, finished with Rubio Monocoat Oil Plus 2C in Walnut, and cut precisely to fit the opening. All exposed edges were sealed prior to installation, helping provide lasting protection in a humid environment.
This sill formed part of a wider set of matching elements built for the same bathroom, all made to order.
