This chunky coat rack was made as a simple, practical piece for an entranceway or bedroom, combining useful storage with a clean, understated look.
The timber was planed and sanded smooth before being finished in a light oak stain, then sealed with our homemade beeswax polish to add a soft sheen and bring out the natural grain.
A substantial shelf across the top provided extra space for smaller items, while jet-black coat hooks added a little contrast and kept the overall design feeling simple and balanced.
Functional, sturdy and easy to place, it was built to add useful storage without taking over the space.
