This low-level TV unit was built with a rustic look in mind, combining a simple, grounded shape with plenty of natural timber character.
The solid timber top was shaped with a subtle faux live edge to give it the feel of a natural slab while keeping the profile more controlled and practical. The timber was stained, lightly back-sanded to bring the grain through, then finished with natural oil to add depth and a more lived-in appearance.
A central divider created practical storage for media equipment, while the integrated feet kept the overall design low and clean.
The finished piece had a solid, understated presence — functional enough for everyday use, but with enough character to stand out in the room.
