This simple fish tank stand was built to fit neatly into the corner of a living room, using reclaimed timber throughout and solid oak trim to give the finished piece a cleaner, more refined edge.
The brief was for something sturdy and understated, with a dark oak finish that would sit comfortably alongside the rest of the room. Rounded hardwood edges softened the overall look while keeping the build practical and easy to live with.
The reclaimed timber gave the piece plenty of character, while the oak detailing helped pull the whole design together.
A straightforward, functional build that made good use of existing material and fitted the space exactly as intended.
