A compact four-bottle rack handmade from solid oak, with rounded edges, exposed dowel detailing and a clear Danish oil finish.
Behind the build
This compact bottle rack was made from solid oak, designed to hold four bottles while keeping the overall look simple and understated.
All edges were gently rounded over for a softer finish, while dowel joinery added strength without interrupting the clean lines of the piece. Exposed dowels on the top gave a subtle nod to traditional joinery and added a little extra character.
The rack was finished in clear Danish oil to protect the timber and bring out the natural warmth and grain of the oak.
Simple, practical and easy to place, it was made as a small functional piece with plenty of natural character.
